Kirtland Credit Union is currently seeking volunteer applicants to fill a Supervisory Committee vacancy.

Qualifications:
Must be a member of Kirtland Credit Union.
Must be bondable.
Must not be a family member of a Kirtland Credit Union employee.

The primary function of the Supervisory Committee is to:

• Direct internal audit activities designed to verify credit union records are prepared accurately
• Verify whether internal controls, policies and procedures are maintained and followed
• Monitor performance to ensure that elected officials are carrying out the duties for which they are responsible.

The Supervisory Committee meets monthly to review internal audit reports, regulatory examination reports and annual financial audit results. They may perform or coordinate other internal auditing functions designed to monitor internal controls, policies and procedures.

Supervisory Committee members are appointed by the Kirtland Credit Union Board Of Directors.
