Kirtland Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Scholarship Program, awarding $10,000 in total to four extraordinary local graduates.

These remarkable young leaders have demonstrated academic excellence, community dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Kirtland Credit Union is excited to invest in their futures, helping them pursue their dreams and overcome financial barriers to education.

Through initiatives like this scholarship program, the credit union continues to support the next generation of leaders, ensuring they have the resources to pursue their academic and professional goals.

The four recipients, selected for their exceptional achievements, community involvement, and aspirations, represent the bright future of our community. Here are the inspiring scholars of 2025:

• Destiny Perez – A graduate of Del Norte High School, Destiny will attend Texas Tech University to study Biology, with plans to become a physician and serve her community.
• Kalija Irving – A graduate of Eldorado High School, Kalija will pursue a degree in Architecture at the University of New Mexico, with aspirations to shape the built environment for future generations.
• Isabel Fernandez – A graduate of Sandia Preparatory School, Isabel will study Sports Medicine at the University of New Mexico, aiming to help athletes perform at their best and recover from injuries.
• Cade Squires – A graduate of his homeschool high school education, Cade is headed to Brigham Young University-Idaho to study Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, with the goal of becoming a pioneering medical researcher.
